MMA Design Studio is looking for talented, ambitious and design-driven individuals to join our Johannesburg studio.

Working Model: 

Hybrid (combining in-studio collaboration with remote working)

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and professionally registered Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 5 years' professional experience.

The successful candidate should demonstrate strong capability in design development, technical resolution and project documentation, preferably with experience across cultural, retail and hospitality projects. We are particularly interested in candidates who can combine design sensitivity with strong technical and delivery skills.

Key Requirements:

• Professional architectural or senior architectural technology qualification and registration

• Minimum 5 years' relevant professional experience

• Strong design development and technical documentation skills

• Proficiency in BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit

• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative design and project team

• Experience in cultural, retail and/or hospitality projects is preferred

• Proficiency in additional design and visualisation software such as SketchUp, Rhino or similar will be an advantage
