Post-graduate Diploma in Architectural Management at the Graduate School of Architecture, FADA, at the University of Joh

The Graduate School of Architecture (GSA) at the University of Johannesburg is pleased to announce the launch of the Post-Graduate Diploma in Architectural Management commencing in 2023.

This is a one year online, full-time programme that will be offered part-time over two years. It is aimed at students holding a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design who wish to advance their studies in architectural design practice and management and who may be considering pursuing research-based Master’s level studies.

Candidates registered as candidate architects, candidate senior architectural technologists and candidate interior designers may apply.

The programme will also serve as a valuable framework for those preparing for SACAP Professional Practice Examination whilst working in practice.

The curriculum covers Architectural Practice Management, Architectural Project Management, Architectural Contracts, with electives in Knowledge Management/Building Information Management and Property Development and Property Finance. A variety of lecturers from South Africa and abroad will contribute to the delivery of the programme.
