GIfA Invites You to join us for a Hiking and Cycling event At Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve.

Venue:  Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve R550, Heidelberg

Option 1:

Fun Cyclist Event:

Train and Ride within a secure safe environment

The cycling surface is tar, hence is suitable for ROAD bicycles (not mountain bikes)

There are 2 different circuits:

For amateurs, a +/- 10km circuit, is not difficult and if you are fit you will finish it with ease.

For fit and/or professional cyclists a +/- 70km circuit with big elevations and slopes. People need to be comfortable cycling and well-trained to do it.

The circuits are 1-way circuits, when you start, you have to finish it, there are no shortcuts

Option 2:

Join the Cheetah day Hiking Trail:

Trail Length: 4km

Duration: Approx. 1,5 hours

Bring your Family

Visit the Suikersbosrand Nature Reserve in your car, and enjoy some of the wild animals in the area

Meet us back at the picnic area and enjoy a typical South African day out.

Bring your sunblock, chairs, snacks, and umbrellas, and just relax while we wait for the others

Your children can enjoy the jumping and jungle castles amongst other amenities

Visit the Museum which is open until 11 am

Clean ablutions.
