GIfA INVITES YOU TO THE FOURTH EDITION OF SPEND AN AFTERNOON WITH A LEGEND

Join us for a special afternoon with Mira Fassler Kamstra, distinguished architect, former President of the Transvaal Institute of Architects and recipient of the South African Institute of Architects’ Gold Medal for Architecture.

Under the theme From Practice to Presidency: A Life in Architecture, Mira will take us through her remarkable professional journey, sharing experiences, milestones and reflections from a lifetime dedicated to architecture.

From taking over her father’s practice to her leadership within the profession and her significant architectural projects, this promises to be an afternoon of stories, wisdom and inspiration.

Beyond celebrating her achievements, we invite members to reflect on a meaningful question: What legacy do we leave behind for the next generation of architects?

Come and spend an afternoon listening, learning and celebrating a life that has helped shape the architectural profession.
