Become proficient in the range of legislative documents that govern the design of primary healthcare facilities, clinics, and other medical-related facilities.

The design of Clinics and Primary Healthcare Facilities are governed by the R158. This is a legal document but is seldom known or understood by architects and designers. There is a growing need to provide medical care facilities in SA (be it private or public).

You can become a designer who is more informed and au fait with good practice and compliance around primary health care facilities.

This workshop will give you a better understanding of the R158, various IUSS documents, the Pharmacy Act as well as Part S of the SANS regulations as they pertain to designing for people with disabilities.

This workshop is engaging and will involve a Q&A component. A CPD certificate of completion will be awarded to each attendee.
