If the law, in terms of the Water Services Act, were to be applied in full – which BCOs are actually supposed to do – then water reticulation calculations would be required with every plan submitted.
Most planning authorities do not apply this rule, nor do I advocate that they should, because in most cases it is unnecessary. But the situation does arise where calculations should be done to ensure that every part of the building or project gets the flow of water that it needs, at the pressure required. The calculations required to provide this are usually simply left to the plumber, but in fact the responsibility remains with the architect.
This presentation will teach the architectural professional, in my well known step-by-step system, how to perform all the calculations, and will provide the Excel templates needed to do this quickly and faultlessly.
Delegates attending the course will need to have two computing devices, e.g. a laptop and an i-pad, two laptops, or even a smartphone plus any computer that can do excel calculations.
Fairly extensive Workshop notes are provided, and it is essential that the delegate prints them before the start of the course. These will be emailed only on confirmation that GIfA has received payment for the course, so making payment at least a few days before the course is recommended
